Firebaugh isn’t a competitive school in almost every sport.
In many cases, they are a Pasadena school’s waste of time to go out to Lynwood.
And tennis is no different.
Mayfield is clearly the class of the Prep League in girls tennis and the Falcons would be the complete opposite.
The Cubs won each match and earned an 18-0 victory, and in games won, Mayfield decimated Firebaugh, 54-1.
Firebaugh doesn’t even have a No. 3 tennis player, or at least they didn’t yesterday.
Lauren Panajotovic, Carly Hall and Sofia Mireles all went 9-0 in singles.
