It really is a waste of time when solid Prep League teams take on a Firebaugh team that has zero shot in competing, let alone winning.
Thursday was just another example of that.
Westridge swept the Falcons, 25-3, 25-2 and 25-1 in a pathetic display.
Many coaches voice displeasure off the record in what good it does either school, but until next season, the story will continue to be the same.
Firebaugh won’t be a part of the Prep League in 2018.
Allison Martinez has 15 kills and 3 aces.
Makana Meyer and Kathleen Chen had 4 kills each.
Emmie Barnard added 23 assists for the first-place Tigers.
Krystal Raymundo was outstanding with 20 aces and not a single error for the Tigers.
