Immaculate Heart’s top cross-country runners delivered a Varsity win at the Staub/Barnes Cross-Country Invitational in La Crescenta.

Immaculate Heart High School’s Varsity Cross-Country team placed first at the Staub/Barnes Cross-Country Invitational on Saturday, September 30th at Crescenta Valley Park in La Crescenta.
Competing against a field of 48 runners, six IHHS athletes placed in the top fifteen spots to earn the team win: Senior Amber Creasey placed third with a time of 20:51; sophomore Daisy Salinas placed fourth with a time of 20:52; sophomore Madeline Creasey placed sixth with a time of 21:01; sophomore Emily Alonso placed eighth with a time of 21:09; sophomore Violet Marko placed ninth with a time of 21:13; and junior Orla Hladky placed 11th with a time of 21:31.
This is the third invitational where Immaculate Heart’s team has won first place, following victories at the recent Brentwood and Rosemead Invitationals. All six runners have consistently performed well, and they continue to impress with their latest outstanding effort at the Staub/Barnes Invitational.
