If you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of the Poly girls volleyball program getting ready for the last couple weeks of the regular season, including a final Prep League match with first-place and undefeated Westridge.
The Panthers swept Flintridge Prep 25-22, 25-13 and 25-14 on Thursday night.
Poly got a balanced effort and is now 18-3 overall and 9-1 in league.
Alexis Pappchan led the way with 9 kills and 3 aces.
Halston Harper added 8 kills and 2 blocks.
Ellla Mao finished with 6 kills, 3 digs and an ace.
Lauren Kidman and Zoey Mao combined for 66 assists.
Libby Penn led Prep with 10 kills and Jada Gritton added 9 kills.
Ellen Chang had 16 digs for the Rebels.
Poly has a nonleague match with La Canada next Monday, and then finishes off the regular season with home matches with Chadwick (Oct. 19) and a season-ending and Prep League title match on Oct. 23 with visiting Westridge.
