The week off and long drive didn’t seem to quell the Poly surge of late.
After having last week off, the Panthers came out and put it to Boron, 34-8, on the road in a nonleague contest.
Graham Olson threw a pair of TD passes to Jackson Hayes, and Cameron McFarlane, Ryan Clayton and Jackson Treister all scored for the Panthers.
Olson finished 10 of 19 for 175 yards, including the two scores of 41 and 14 yards to Hayes.
Olson also rushed for 40 yards on 9 carries.
Hayes had 4 catches for 96 yards.
McFarlane gained 54 yards on just four carries
Treister had a 35-yard TD and finished with 54 yards on 5 caries.
Clayton had a 1-yard TD run and 31 yards on the ground.
Christian Henderson caught 4 balls for 61 yards.
Franco Alonso led the Poly defense with 8 tackles, while Thomas McConnell had 7, and Cameron McFarlane, Ryan Clayton and James Olson had 6 tackles apiece.
Poly will travel to Trinity Classical Academy next Thursday at 7:30 to open Prep League play.
