If there is one team that continues to fly under the radar in volleyball circles, it seems to be Poly.
The Panthers are 19-3 overall, and 9-1 in Prep League battles.
With two league matches left, Poly finds itself on a hot streak, including Monday’s sweep over La Canada.
Poly hasn’t lost a two-of-three set match since their September 12th defeat at Westridge.
And if they hold court in Thursday’s home match with Chadwick, it will set up a title tilt with Westridge next Monday.
As far as Monday went, Halston Harper led the way with 11 kills and 3 blocks.
Poly earned a 25-22, 25-20 and 25-23 victory.
Ella Mao added 9 kills, and Kate Salembier and Zoey Mao finished with 4 kills each.
Zoey Mao also had 30 assists, and Lauren Kidman had 13 assists.
The Panthers close out the week on Thursday when they host Chadwick at 3:45.
