Mayfield saw its season come to an end Monday night.
The Cubs had a road trip to take on the Empire League champions of Cypress (16-5).
And the Centurions looked the part with a 25-23, 25-16 and 25-21 sweep of the visiting Cubs.
Annie Evans the way for Mayfield with 8 kills and 8 blocks.
Maddie Reed added 5 kills, and Olivia Smith had 4 kills.
Cami Martin took over a program just before the season was about to begin and still found a way to lead the Cubs to a third-place showing in the Prep League.
Ellie Watkins finished with 27 assists, 7 digs and three aces.
