Accomplishment(s): Stephens did his part and then some in Muir’s 33-21 victory over crosstown rival Pasadena on Friday night at the Rose Bowl in the Turkey Tussle. Stephens rushed for 135 yards on 12 carries. The senior scored twice, including a 75-yard score that gave the Mustangs a 13-9 lead. Stephens has been incredible all season, but especially the last month-plus, and has the Mustangs in a solid position to earn a CIF-SS playoff berth after finishing the season 6-4. He was also named the Turkey Tussle’s MVP.
