School: St. Francis High School
Grade: Seniors (Barriga, Barkley, Konrad, Hunter), and Zhang (Junior)
Sport: Football
Position: Offensive Lineman
Accomplishment(s): While quarterback Darius Perrantes, running backs Elijah Washington and Kevin Armstead and receivers Greg Dulcich Blake Howard, Andrew Monarrez and Isaac Cordova earn the headlines, St. Francis is nothing without their offensive line. The Golden Knights O-line played arguably their best and most complete game of the year Friday night in Perris where St. Francis earned a 30-20 victory over Citrus Hill in the quarterfinal round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs. Barriga, Barkley, Konrad, Zhang and Hunter opened holes for Washington and Armstead, especially with the game on the line in the second half, and they also allowed Perrantes to get the ball to Dulcich, Howard, Monarrez and Cordova through the air. St. Francis will host El Toro this Friday with a trip to the D3 title game on the line.
