The Lancers, though, used a 7-point advantage in the final period to outlast the Rebels.
La Salle defeated Prep, 41-38, in the season opener for both schools.
Julia Macabuhay and Zarah Huo had 15 points apiece for La Salle.
Kaitlyn Chen led all players with 22 points for the Rebels.
Andie Kim and Sophia Gonzalez had 8 points apiece for Prep.
Brianna Antillon finished with 9 points for La Salle.
La Salle will travel to Whitney next Monday, and Prep will face off with Eagle Rock on Friday in the Keppel Tournament.
