Maranatha traveled to La Cañada on Friday to face off against the Spartans. The first half of play saw both sides battling for possession and offensive opportunities. At the break, the scoreline was nil-nil, with neither team able to capitalize.
After the restart, La Cañada cracked the Minutemen defense, and scored; two more goals would follow for the Spartans before the final whistle blew. Maranatha plays next against Azusa High School on Wednesday, December 20th at 5:30pm.
