Williams (Garfield High) was sixth in the state in receptions per game at 6.1 (seventh in yards average) as he finished with 55 catches for 830 yards and a Lancers high 10 touchdowns. His 62 points overall led the team in scoring. Williams tied for the seventh highest single-season reception total in PCC history.
Lozano (Montebello High) led the SCFA Metro League at 37.5 yards per punt as he landed 16 punts inside the 20. He boomed a career-best, 65-yard punt in the team’s season finale at Santa Ana. He was sixth in the SCFA and 13th in the state. Lozano also made an impact with his placekicking as he scored 61 points, including setting a PCC record for longest field goal of 50 yards. He was 11th in the state in points-a-game for kicker at 6.1. He tied a PCC record with eight extra points made in a victory over West LA.
