Muir lost Thursday to Corona Centennial, 76-69, in their third game of the Damien Tournament.
But the Mustangs are better prepared for Pacific League play at the CIF-SS playoffs because of challenges like this.
Hunter Woods had 23 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks for Muir.
Haleem Jenkins had a big game too with 20 points, 4 boards and 2 steals.
Tasson Aubry added 8 points, 6 rebounds and a block, while Tiyon Martin finished with 6 points, 6 assists and 3 steals.
Simaine Stewart junior chipped in with 11 points, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 rebounds.
Muir will take on Rancho Cucamonga (13-1) at 3:30 Friday at Damien.
