For the second consecutive night, Flintridge Prep earned a four-point victory.
The Rebels had a late-night 8:30 tip off against Shalhevet in a game played at Taft High School on Saturday night.
And one night after defeating San Marino by four points, Prep was able to get past Shalhevet, 48-44, behind 17 from Jonathan Le.
Before Friday’s 52-48 decision over San Marino, Prep had been on a 9-game losing streak.
They picked a good time to snap the slide, because Prep League action begins on Tuesday.
AJ Nicassio added 8 points, Matthew Ho had 6 and both Nick Davis and John Lytle chipped in 5 points each.
Shalhevet’s Zack Muller had a game-high 19 points.
Prep will open league play on Tuesday at Firebaugh.
