Poly had just one Prep League game under their belt when they hosted Rio Hondo Prep on Tuesday afternoon.
That contest was nearly a month ago, and was a 28-24 loss to Mayfield.
Fast forward 28 days, and Sarah Johnson went off.
In fact, her 32 points were more than the Panthers put up as a unit in that one previous league game.
Johnson helped moved the Panthers to 1-1 in Prep League play with her 32 points, and it led Poly to a 61-55 victory over the Kares.
Kylie Kishi also had a big outing with 17.
Keara Caragher added 8 points and Alexis Pappachan finished with 4 points.
Poly will host Westridge on Thursday at 4, as Prep League play continues.
