There are a hand full of Pasadena area basketball players that you know are going to score north of 20 points on most nights.
Dez Washington at Blair is one of those, and he didn’t let anyone down again on Friday night.
The senior had 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the Vikings’ 67-50 victory over Temple City.
The win keeps Blair to within one game of La Canada in the Rio Hondo League standings.
The Spartans earned coach Tom Hoffman his 700th win on Friday, as they easily dispatched of South Pasadena, 82-55.
But back to Blair.
The Vikings got 14 points and 4 rebounds from Favour Ihiaso.
Freshman Zavior Smith added 10 points and Donald Guyton finished with 9 points and 3 assists.
Dallas Murray chipped in for 7 points and Chris Babby had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the Vikings.
Blair will host South Pasadena on Wednesday at 7, as Rio Hondo League play resumes.
