Flintridge Prep met up with Glendora on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in the So Cal Shootout at Damien High School.

As difficult as it is to get ready for a game that starts 10 hours before you’re used to playing throughout the season, both the Rebels and Tartans got after it.

Prep trailed Glendora by 5 points heading into the fourth quarter, but the Tartans wore them down with a 13-point surge in the final period.

Glendora earned a 63-45 victory behind Jack Ravasdy, who had a game-best 20 points.

Jonathan Le led the Rebels with 16 points and Brandon Gunning added 12 for Prep.

Noah Randall had 14 for GHS and Vanderik Woods had 9.

Glendora will travel to Chino Hills to take on Ayala on Wednesday at 6:30.

Prep will host Firebaugh next Friday at 7, and then the Rebels will get into the heart of their Prep League schedule.

Poly and Prep are both 2-0 in league play.
