It’s never a surprise to see the gaudy numbers that La Salle guard Julia Macabuhay puts up night after night.
But she saved her best in her final regular season game at La Salle.
The reigning Pasadena Sports Now Girls Basketball Player of the Year scored 37 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 8 assists.
La Salle cruised by second-place Mary Star, 65-44, on Senior Night Thursday.
Brianna Antillon had another big game.
The Lancers’ junior guard finished with 16 points.
Crystal Ramirez and Skylar Uzeta had 4 points each.
Alyssa Arroyo contributed 3 points and Kat Sabido had 1.
La Salle closed out their 2017-18 regular season schedule on a 9-game winning streak.
La Salle, ranked No. 9 in the most recent CIF-SS Division 3A poll (Feb. 5), will find out its playoff pairing on Sunday afternoon at 1.
