Accomplishment(s): Moore is another athlete who’s stats can’t come close to measuring his worth. On a Bulldogs’ team full of superstars, Moore comes off the bench to give PHS a much-needed spark that the Bulldogs lacked last season on their way to a second place finish in the CIF playoffs. This week, Moore had 4 points and 7 rebounds in Tuesday’s 13-point victory at Damien in the CIF-SS Division 1 quarterfinals, but his assists and blocked shots in that game provided a boost in the arm when the Spartans were making a number of runs. Then, 72 hours later, Moore led PHS with both 14 points and 11 rebounds in their 48-46, season-saving, nail-biting victory over Rancho Verde in the semifinals. Rancho Verde’s scheme took Bryce Hamilton out of the game offensively by double and triple teaming Hamilton, so Moore filled the void in key moments to save the Bulldogs title chances this coming weekend against Chino Hills.
