Flintridge Sacred Heart is off to a quick start in the 2018 softball season.
The Tologs earned a 16-3 victory over South Pasadena and later Saturday, FSHA outlasted La Salle, 9-7, in the San Marino Tournament.
In game one, Alli Lombardo had 2 hits and drove in 4 runs.
Sarah Peck added 3 hits (two doubles) and scored twice.
Karrie Nishiyama contributed two triples and she scored 2 runs.
Cate Ziegler chipped in with 3 hits, 3 runs scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Courtney Rasic went 3 innings in the circle, allowing 3 runs (two earned) and struck out 4.
Lombardo pitched two scoreless innings.
In game two, Rasic went all 7 innings.
She surrendered 7 runs (five earned), walked two and struck out two Lancers’ batters.
Peck had 2 more hits, scored twice and drove in 2 runs.
Rasic had 4 hits and an RBI.
And Ziegler pounded out 4 hits (three doubles) scored twice an drove in 3 runs.
The Tologs will host Mayfield on Tuesday at 3:15.
