Flintridge Prep lost its first game of the 2018 season, but they didn’t go down without a fight.
Trailing by six runs headed to the bottom of the seventh inning, the Rebels rallied for four runs.
Rolling Hills Prep, though, held on to earn a 8-5 victory on Thursday.
Jeff Chan allowed 8 runs over 3 2/3 innings.
Max Giltan went the final 3 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball and he struck out 4 batters.
Nick Davis went 2 for 3 at the plate, including a double and he drew a walk.
Davis drove in 3 runs for the Rebels.
Flintridge Prep will host Long Beach Jordan on Saturday afternoon at 4.
