What a difference some rest meant to the Muir baseball team.
The Mustangs went through a brutal streak where they played four games in four days and had run out of pitching.
But after a few days off, the Mustangs regrouped and defeated Rosemead 7-0 in 5 innings on Tuesday.
Valente Vera went the distance and surrendered just one hit.
Amaris Harrison went 2 for 2, scored once and drove in a pair of runs.
Vera also had 2 hits, and 2 RBIs.
Ely Resendiz had one hit and 2 RBIs.
Weather permitting, Muir will face Arroyo on Friday.
