Poly’s 12-1 loss at Chadwick Tuesday was a game the Panthers hope is erase from their minds as quickly as possible.
The Dolphins dominated in every phase of the game before earning the mercy-rule victory in their Prep League contest.
Chadwick out-hit Poly 9-2 and the Panthers committed four errors.
Tara Adarkar singled and Poly’s lone bright spot was a Brennah Bronk home run in the fourth inning.
Bronk now has five home runs in 2018.
Alex Davisson went all five innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out seven for the Dolphins.
Megan Dinnegan went 2 for 3, scored once and drove in three runs.
Alexa Schulten had three hits, scored twice and added 5 RBIs for Chadwick.
Poly will take on La Salle on Thursday (weather permitting) at Arcadia County Park at 3:15.
