Poly found itself down two games to one as the fourth set began.
But with solid play down the stretch, the Panthers rallied for the five-set victory.
They earned a 25-10, 17-25, 21-25, 25-22 and 15-12 victory in a nonleague battle Thursday.
Graham Olson led Poly with 12 kills.
Senior setter Jonathan Thein had a big match with 34 assists, 5 kills and 3 blocks.
Poly won’t play again until April 4, when they travel to Mark Keppel.
