Whittier Christian must be getting pretty sick of Dawson Netz.
The Maranatha stud threw a no-hitter back on March 16, and 25 days later, Netz shut out the Heralds in a five-inning mercy-rule victory.
Netz allowed four hits, walked one and struck out eight batters.
The Minutemen earned the 10-0 victory in five innings and moved to 4-0 in Olympic League play.
Netz has gone 36 consecutive innings without allowing a run.
Luke Watson went 3 for 3 and scored three runs.
Charles Acker went 2 for 3 with a pair of runs scored and an RBI.
Brock Vradenburg has been a big addition for the MHS offense.
He went 1 for 3, scored once and had a game-high three RBIs.
Max Blessinger doubled and scored and Marco Martinez had a double and a run scored.
Netz doubled in a run himself.
Ethan Firestone went 1 for 2 with an RBI and run scored, and Casey Popham had an RBI on a sac fly.
Nick Iverson doubled, drove in one run and scored another.
Maranatha will host Whittier Christian on Friday night at 6 at Brookside Park.
