Alvie Castro picked up his sixth win of the season on Tuesday after PHS defeated Burbank 9-1 in a Pacific League game.
Castro went 4 2/3 innings and allowed one run on two hits.
Castro walked three and struck out batters.
Nik Moran took over and went the final 2 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing just one hit and striking out one.
David Banuelos had one hit, scored a run and drove in two.
Hugo Escobedo had a big game, going 3 for 4 with a double, scoring two runs and picking up an RBI.
Nik Moran went 2 for 2 at the plate, including a double, and he scored two runs for PHS.
Christian Zambrano collected two hits, had an RBI and run scored.
Robert Olivades had one hit and an RBI and Adrian DePasquale drove in a run on a sac fly.
The Bulldogs have won six consecutive Pacific League games and are inching closer to a CIF-SS playoff berth.
PHS will travel to Burbank Saturday night for a 7 p.m. game.
