Accomplishment(s): The La Salle junior, along with his entire team, earned three CIF-SS Division 4 playoff victories this past week. In the first round victory over Rio Hondo Prep, Rettig led the Lancers with 10 kills, 6 digs and an ace. Two night later, Rettig added 15 kills and 17 digs in a second-round win at Laguna Blanca in Santa Barbara, and on Saturday evening, in a sweep over Providence, he contributed 9 kills and two aces. La Salle will face the San Gabriel Academy-Rancho Alamitos winner on Wednesday night in the semifinal round.
