Quotable:
Marshall assistant coach Nicole Busdeker: “We played aggressively, more than we typically do on offense. There was a difference in our energy and attitude (after the first set). We started to minimize our own errors. We are looking forward to having a great season.”
Marshall outside hitter Sophia Hatum: “We played strong. We were together, like sisters. We were all happy on the court and worked together well. We brought the score back up. We were a little shaky at first, but we all got focused and didn’t let go of the rope. It was fun having Coach B coach us today. She did a great job.”
