Nothing is going to come easy for the La Salle football program in 2018.
And Friday’s trip to Apple Valley won’t be one they’ll want to remember for too long.
The Sun Devils scored 43 first-quarter points and routed the Lancers, 78-0, in a nonleague game.
CJ Rettig was 6 of 15 for 80 yards.
Corbin Jones and Daniel Jose combined to rush for 15 yards on 7 carries.
Marcus Powe, Corbin Jones, Daniel Jose and Steven Lozano combined for 6 catches for 80 yards.
Powe led La Salle with 58 yards receiving.
La Salle will travel to Cerritos next Friday to take on Valley Christian (1-4) at 7.
The Crusaders have lost three consecutive games, including Friday’s night’s 40-17 setback at the hands of Ontario Christian.
