You might have heard, but Poly senior Franco Alonso is an exceptional athlete.
Alonso scored three more touchdowns in the Panthers’ 26-12 victory over Temple City on Friday afternoon in a nonleague showdown.
Alonso had two rushing scores and finished with 50 yards on 10 carries.
He also ran a punt back 50 yards for a third score.
Jackson Treister had a team-high 65 yards on 13 carries, including a rushing TD.
William McConnell and Alonso led Poly with six tackles apiece, and Henry Dean tallied five tackles, including one for loss.
Robbie Wilson completed 6 of 10 passes for 58 yards.
Wilson hit junior Connor Henderson twice for 28 yards.
Poly will host California City (2-2) this coming Friday at 4.
The Ravens are coming off their bye week and will make the 114-mile ride to Pasadena.
