Accomplishment: For the second time in two weeks, St. Francis freshman Max Garrison is our boys athlete of the week. The only other two players in our three-year history to accomplish that feat were former PHS basketball star/current UNLV player Bryce Hamilton and former La Salle football/current Portland State player Amon Milliner. Garrison got his second start for the Golden Knights and he’s filling in for the area’s most explosive running back, which is an injured Kevin Armstead. Garrison upped his game from a week ago, which says a lot, and scored five touchdowns and rushed for over 160 yards in the 48-27 road victory at Harvard-Westlake. It was SF’s first road win in three tries and they are now over the .500 mark (3-2) for the first time in 2018.
