But when that quarterback has three of those go for at least 67 yards or longer, the writing is on the wall.
And so it was, as Whittier Christian’s Quinn Commans was the story Friday night. at Whittier College.
Commans five scores led the Heralds to a 47-14 victory over Maranatha in an Olympic League contest on Friday.
If Commans 356 yards and five scores didn’t impress, how about his season total that now climbs to 38 touchdowns?
Cade McGee caught three of Commans’ scores and Nico Albertini had two.
Kwon Peterson threw a 45-yard TD pass late in the second quarter to Sam Ryan, but the Minutemen (2-4-1) were still down 40-7.
Peterson had 121 yards in the air and was picked off twice by Nico Albertini.
Maranatha (2-4-1, 0-2) will host Heritage Christian next Friday at 7.
