From Staff Reports
To say the La Salle boys soccer team has found its footing in league play would be an understatement.
Outside of the Camino Real League, the Lancers have won just 3 of their 14 games, which included a 1-1 tie on Dec. 22 against Pasadena High.
But where it counts, La Salle has been money.
The Lancers are 5-0 in league, after Friday’s 4-0 shut out of Bosco Tech.
Eric Rivero scored two first-half goals.
The freshman has scored at least once in each of the five league games, and has almost 20 this season.
Michael Gibbs blocked 4 Bosco Tech shots in goal.
The Lancers have allowed just one goal in league play.
Nick Reynolds and Corbin Jones also scored goals for the Lancers.
La Salle will be back on the field Wednesday when they travel to St. Monica at 3, and then host Cantwell-Sacred Heart next Friday at 5.
Camino Real League Standings:
La Salle (8-10-1 overall, 5-0 in league)

Bosco Tech (3-6-1, 1-2-1)
