Yocelyn Marquez scored for the Lancers in the first half on Tuesday in La Salle’s 3-1 victory over St. Joseph in a Del Rey League match up.
Clarissa Yang and Croix Soto each scored second-half goals to close out the Jesters (2-13-3, 2-2).
Lauren Veneri had 5 saves in goal for La Salle (13-4-2, 3-1)
“As for it being senior night, Clarissa finished the job for us offensively and our senior goalkeeper, Lauren Veneri, had another outstanding game with 5 spectacular saves,” La Salle coach Sheima Berenji said. “Our St. Joseph game goes to our six seniors. Annalise Guzman, Kathleen Brady, Madison Burgh, Melissa Mariscal, Lauren Veneri and Clarissa Yang.”
La Salle will travel to Long Beach to take on St. Anthony at 4:30 as league play continues.
