To say Pasadena is cruising right now would be an understatement.
The Bulldogs blew out Arcadia, 77-42, Monday, for their 12th straight win overall, and it moves Pasadena to 10-0 in Pacific League play.
Despite playing limited minutes, Pasadena’s ‘Big 3’ scored 56 of the Bulldogs 77 points.
Bryce Hamilton led the way with 23 points in 23 minutes, he grabbed 8 rebounds and was credited with 8 assists.
Darius Brown II has been as hot as anyone.
Brown II scored 19 points on 8 of 13 shooting, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in just 16 minutes of work.
“Everyone was confident and was sharing the ball with no hesitation and that was great to see,” Brown II said. “I can’t afford to not be confident. My team counts on me to make big shots, and I will continue to do anything that’s asked of me to help us win games.”
Hamilton and Brown had an incredible 17 assists combined to no turnovers on Monday night.
The youngster, Darius Mason, scored 14 points in 16 minutes, and was able to grab 6 rebounds.
Pasadena was up 53-23 at halftime, and 70-26 after three periods.
Jesse Watkins finished with 9 points and freshman Davian Brown, the younger brother of Darius, had 6 points after going 2 for 2 from behind the 3-point line.
Pasadena will host Burbank on Wednesday at 5.
The Bulldogs are now within sight of a 13th consecutive Pacific League championship.
