Mayfield had gone the first three-fourths of the girls soccer season without having won consecutive games.
The Cubs, though, after Tuesday’s 3-1 victory over Westridge, have now won 3 consecutive heading into the home stretch.
Mayfield got goals from Daria Young, Michaela Gallo and Lauren LeCoCo on Tuesday.
Izzy Taglioretti had 5 saves in goal for the Cubs.
