Muir seniors Javonte James and Brandon Hicks came up big on Wednesday night.
The Mustangs’ seniors combined for 38 points on senior night, and as important, they’re still in the hunt for a potential second place finish in the Pacific League.
James led the way with 21.
Hicks had 17, after hitting five 3-point baskets.
But that wasn’t it, as Muir was very balanced in their final home game of the year.
Eric Hollins and Carey Bishop had 10 points each.
Both Hunter Woods and Jayro Balderas added 8 points for the Mustangs.
Tiyon Martin rounded out the Muir scoring with 5 points.
The Mustangs will finish the regular season on the road, and have a Friday match up at Crescenta Valley at 6:30.
