After starting the season 7-0, Pasadena had dropped its last three baseball games.
Nik Moran decided he’d seen enough of that.
The junior went all 7 innings, allowing just one earned run and striking out seven.
Pasadena scored a run in the top of the seventh to break a tie, and Moran did the rest, as the Bulldogs downed Paramount, 3-2, on Monday night.
Moran surrendered six hits and walked two.
Aaron Corder had a base hit and an RBI for Pasadena (8-3).
David Banuelos and Christian Zambrano each had one hit for the Bulldogs.
Zambrano scored two of the three runs for Pasadena on Monday night.
PHS will host Golden Valley (3-6) of Merced today (Tuesday) at 3:15 in a Babe Herman Tournament game.
