It was evident early on that Pasadena pitcher Alvie Castro wasn’t going to get a lot of help from his defense.

The first two Arcadia runs came off of Bulldogs’ errors.

And to top that off, Arcadia pitcher Jacob Kampen was on his game.

Kampen went six scoreless, allowing four hits, walking none and striking out five.

Arcadia earned a 4-0 Pacific League victory Tuesday afternoon at Pasadena.

The Apaches only had four hits, and only two of their four runs came off of hits.

Tyus Sanata Anna had a base hit and an RBI as did John Woo for Arcadia.

Axel Tanner had two of Pasadena’s four hits. David Banuelos and Alvie Castro had the others.

Castro also went six innings.

He only surrendered two hits and two earned runs, but he walked four batters and plunked three more.

Pasadena can get even Friday, as they travel to take on Arcadia at 3:30.
