There’s no question whether it’s girls or boys volleyball, La Salle coach Tiare Tuitama gets the best out of her players.
After a dismal 1-8 start to the season, the Lancers are just one-game back of St. Genevieve in the loss column thanks to a five-set victory over St. Anthony on Thursday night.
The Lancers defeated then first-place St. Anthony, 27-25, 25-15, 16-25, 6-25 and 15-11.
La Salle has now won six of their last seven matches and have turned their season around.
Will Dalgarn led the way with 11 kills and 22 digs.
Tyrese Lee added 5 solo blocks.
La Salle’s JV also beat St. Anthony, 25-9 and 25-19.
The Lancers will travel to Bosco Tech on Monday at 6 as league play continues.
