It sounds cliche and often is when a coach says “this was a total team victory.”
In Alverno’s case, though, on Tuesday, the Jaguars couldn’t have been more balanced.
They had six separate players with two RBI and easily cruised by Holy Family, 15-2.
Isabella Fyson had a big day with three hits, four runs scored and she drove in two runs.
She also went the distance and allowed two unearned runs on five hits.
Fyson didn’t walk a batter and struck out seven.
Clarissa Gianoli had two hits and drove in two runs.
Alyssa Gutierrez went 1 for 2 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Aryana Godinez also had two hits, scored twice and drove in two runs.
Alyssa Martinez went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and she drove in two more.
Natalie Scigliano drove in two runs, on two hits and scored once.
Alicia Mercado went 1 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI.
Alex Barroso also went 1 for 4, scored once and drove in one run.
