Caltech men’s tennis senior Ruthwick Pathireddy (Cerritos, Calif. / Whitney) has been named First Team All-SCIAC.
Pathireddy, already only the second player in program history to earn any all-conference recognition, now becomes the program’s only First Team honoree. The senior tri-captain closed out his career as the program’s all-time singles and doubles wins leader while earning a No. 16 ranking in the West region Oracle/ITA DIII Rankings. He defeated both the 16th- and 46th-ranked players in the nation in addition to the West Nos. 7 and 11 in singles and the West No. 3 doubles tandem while posting a 7-8 record at #1 singles this spring. Pathireddy also was recently named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team.
