The Maranatha Minutemen continued their surge in the CIF playoffs by knocking off the El Toro Chargers, 10-8, in the quarterfinals. The match swung back and forth all day but the scales were tipped when the #2 doubles combo of Matthew Leiva and Michael Mathews won their last set of the day, 6-4.
After winning on the road the last couple of rounds, the Minutemen head home for a Wednesday tilt with #2 seeded Mission Viejo on Wednesday, May 17th.
