Flintridge Prep fought their read-end’s off all season, despite being out-matched physically many time…especially in the Prep League’s upper echelon of teams.

But coach Sean Beattie’s program made major strides and finished 13-10 after Tuesday’s regular-season finale against Providence.

Courtney Johnson led the way with 20 kills.

Prep earned the 25-27, 25-17, 25-22, 25-27, and 15-11 nonleague victory.

Kaitlyn Chen added 19 kills and 5 blocks, while Jada Gritton finished with 12 kills.

Ellen Chang chipped in 37 digs and Ani Bernardi led Prep with 66 assists.

The Rebels’ 13-10 (over-500) record gives them a shot at an at-large bid that comes out on Thursday at 3.

Prep finished fifth in the Prep League behind Westridge, Poly, Mayfield and Chadwick in that order.
