Accomplishment(s): Perrantes, who had struggled over the past month or so, at least statistically, broke out in Thursday night’s 77-27 thumping over then-second place Harvard-Westlake in an Angelus League game. Perrantes threw for four scores, and ran for another. He threw six TD passes in the Golden Knights first game back on Aug. 31, but heading into Thursday’s game, and some eight weeks later, Perrantes had only thrown for four combined scores. That’s in the past now, after throwing TD’s of 67, 2, 4, and 50 yards in that order, and he rushed for a 62-yard TD. Perrantes threw for 280 yards, as St. Francis now faces Cathedral next Friday at home in a game that will determine the Angelus League champion and as important, the team that will get the No. 1 seed heading into the CIF playoffs from their league.
