Muir continued to stay balanced Friday night.

And because of that, Muir continued to win.

The Mustangs defeated visiting Burroughs, 60-45, behind 17 points, 15 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal from their 6-foot-8 senior Tasson Aubry.

Hunter Woods did what Hunter Woods does.

The senior had 14 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists and 2 blocks.

Haleem Jenkins added 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

Tiyon Martin has been steady all year, and the senior scored 8 points, dished out 3 assists and had 4 rebounds.

Simaine Stewart Junior finished with 6 points, 4 assists, 4 steals and 2 rebounds for the first-place Mustangs.

Neal Carter added 3 points, 2 rebounds and an assist.

Muir has three Pacific League games this coming week.

The Mustangs host Arcadia on Monday, and then travel to Crescenta Valley and Burbank on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.
