It wasn’t exactly the kind of a start Poly was looking for on Wednesday evening, but they certainly got the finish it had hoped for.
Poly finished the first half with just 9 total points and trailed visiting Chadwick by 12 points.
But the Panthers outscored the Dolphins, 26-10 the rest of the way to earn the 35-31 Prep League victory.
Alexis Pappachan led the way with 14 points.
Sarah Johnson finished with 10 points and Kylie Kishi had 6.
Keara Caragher added 5 points for Poly.
Poly will travel to Westridge tomorrow (Thursday) and then on Saturday night, they’ll head over to first-place Flintridge Prep for their first of two with the Rebels over a 72 hour period.
