Christian Henderson, for the second game in a row, scored two touchdowns in a Panthers victory.

Last week, Henderson ran two kickoff returns back for scores.

This time, Henderson had a rushing and receiving touchdown and helped lead Poly to a 55-6 nonleague victory over Bosco Tech at South Pasadena High School.

John Genske is red hot and had four more TD passes on Friday, including two to Jackson Hayes.

Genske also rushed for another score. That gives Genske 8 total touchdowns in the last seven days.

Jack Wilson caught a TD pass and Shane Garrity ran for a score.

Matt Queen ran back a kickoff for a Poly touchdown.

Will McConnell had a pick on defense for the Panthers.

“Our defense was lights out again and our offensive line was excellent,” Poly coach Chris Schmoke said. “Jack Hodgen, Nolan Matthews, Daniel D’Amico, Zane Behary and Sean Tibay were awesome up front. We are looking forward to getting into our league schedule next week.”

Bosco’s lone score came on a Roman Hernandez rushing TD.

“Pasadena Poly outplayed and outcoached us on offense, defense and special teams,” Tigers coach Branden Jones said.

Poly will travel to Firebaugh next Friday as Prep League play begins.

Bosco Tech (3-5, 1-1) will travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart next week.
