They say it’s better to be lucky than good.
Well, Flintridge Prep was both lucky and good on Tuesday.
The Rebels hammered Keppel 15-5 and pounded out 15 hits.
But they were also lucky enough that Keppel committed 8 errors and took advantage of that.
Therese Oshiro got the win for Prep, and improved to 4-2.
Libby Penn went 3-4 and drove in three runs
Maya Vasquez went 2-4 with 3 RBIs.
Olivia Stevens also went 3-4, and she too drove in three runs.
Prep will host Firebaugh on Thursday at 3:30 in a Prep League contest.
