The Maranatha Minutemen defeated the Fairmont Prep Huskies, 17-1, in an Olympic League matchup at La Habra Tennis Center. It was the Minutemen’s sixth consecutive victory and brings their league record to a perfect 3-0 on the season.

Maranatha’s #1 and #2 singles Matt Alleman and Bryan Lin recorded six points without losing a single game. #3 singles Jake Scott took two of three sets, only losing to Fairmont’s #1.

Maranatha doubles teams swept all nine sets on the day and continue to improve every week. The #3 doubles team of Billy Sun and Tony Gao completed their first perfect day on the year, winning 6-1, 6-2, 6-3.

The Minutemen have now won 36 consecutive league matches in a row and will look to extend it on Thursday against Whittier Christian.
